The Pinhole Project allowed me to express myself in various ways using film. The first image represents the search for color and beauty in the world as Sabrina is looking out into the distance. The different shades of pink put the main focus on Sabrina and make the rest of the background seem less important. I wanted to make the colors darker around her, and put the lighter, happier colors in the direction she is looking. I decided to make the second image my vignette. I wanted to blur out parts of the background and make them darker to put the main focus on Sabrina and me. For my third image I used the brush tool to highlight objects in the background and make certain things stand out. I gave Sabrina a halo to represent an angel and I put devil horns on myself.

This project taught me a lot about the development of making film. It was a very fun process learning how to process photos in the dark room and how long to develop each photo for. Making the pinhole was hard at first, but after a few attempts we were able to figure it out and experiment with taking pictures. It was cool to see how little the film had to be exposed to the sunlight before it would be ready to be developed. Overall, this project has been really fun and taught me a lot about the process taking photos using film.
